    111000 - Tiny Tot Sports

    This program is designed to encourage the development of your child's motor skills to assist in future sports participation, and will consist of basic drills to teach fundamentals and scrimmages against other teams. Each program is divided into a 3-4 year-old divison and a 5-6 year-old division, although age groups may be combined depending on the number of children registered.
    Practices and scrimmages will be on Saturdays between the hours of 8 AM and 2 PM. Schedules will be available after the conclusion of registration. Dates and times are subject to change. All Tiny Tot participants must have an adult participant with them during the activity, and all participants must wear closed-toe shoes. Activity fee includes a participant shirt and program ribbon for each child.

    Twirl for fun or become a champion. Baton is a great for eye coordination and builds self esteem and team spirit. Students learn basic twirls and move on to more advanced twirls. Routines are taught to incorporate basic twirls with footwork. All students have the opportunity to participate in parades and performances from Main Street Manteca to marching down Main Street in Disneyland. SUPPLIES NOTE: Batons are available to use during class, or may be purchased from the instructor for $35.00.

    Students will meet with the instructor as a group for 60 minutes once a week. This is an introductory guitar class, covering techniques and concepts for playing the guitar. This comprehensive class will introduce students to the basics of all music styles and how the guitar functions in each style. NOTE: Each student must supply their own 6-string acoustic guitar. GK Music may have some guitars available for loan or rent-to-own. A minimum of five students is needed to run class.

    Babysitter Certification Program for those ages 11 and up (including adults) who want to learn more about caring for children. Course includes CPR and First-Aid certification, dealing with emergencies, taking care of sick children, indoor and outdoor safety, discipline, basic child development, and skills for entertaining young children. Participants also learn how to write a resume and how to find babysitting jobs! Course certificate and American Heart Association CPR/FA card available upon successful completion.
